Dan Holt

A third-year professional, Holt specializes in successfully navigating his way through the chaotic sprints that often define the end of a bicycle race.

Whether he is sprinting on the road or on the track, his skill in getting to the finish line first has earned him a pair of national collegiate cycling titles (racing for Marian College) and seven Florida state cycling titles. He comes to Team Type 1 from the Nerac Pro Cycling squad, a team that also featured current Team Type 1 racer Chris Jones.

Holt is also perhaps the rider in the peloton to best forecast the weather, having earned a degree in meteorology from Florida State. In the off-season, Holt makes his home in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where his wife, Janelle, is a meteorologist at the local airport.
